Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare, handle and follow up the LC, TT and all types of import related documents.
∎ Co-ordinate with Govt. Officials, BOI, C&F Agents, Banks, BEPZA, Custom House and EPZ Customs, Freight Forwarders, Transport for execution of Import purpose etc.
∎ HS Code checking of Proforma invoice for Garments Machinery import under SRO benefits and smooth clearance process from Customs.
∎ To ensure PI terms and conditions for back to back LC & Checking LC clauses with supplier.
∎ Prepare necessary documents for foreign LC, back to back LC, TT, sales Contract, DP and follow up with bank.
∎ To handle & follow the LC procedure of Machinery & Accessories.
∎ Ensure all logistics activities related to Import.
∎ Follow up the LC and other payment process with supplier through bank to complete the whole process within stipulated time frame.
∎ Maintaining all files and registers of related work.
∎ Manage financial and currency processes and transactions in accordance with policy and law, and to optimize cost-effectiveness of activities.
∎ Any other task assign by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Having sound knowledge on BEPZA and Customs Bond rules & regulations etc.
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge in import, international business, Custom clearing & forwarding.
∎ Should be able to follow-up task pro-actively and effectively.
∎ Should have Good communication skills in English (Written / Verbal)
∎ Should be willing to work for additional hours if it is required to finish the assigned responsibility.
∎ Should have good interpersonal skills and be capable of working both independently and collectively.
∎ Should have keen sense of punctuality along with ethical and professional responsibility.
