∎ Pre-opening Experience: Proven experience in hotel pre-opening.
∎ Experience in Cox’s Bazar: Proven experience in Cox’s Bazar hotel industry.
∎ Brand Standards: Strong understanding of international hotel brand’s standards and guidelines.
∎ Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges effectively.
∎ Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, management, and hotel brand.
∎ Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve common goals.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement a detailed pre-opening kitchen preparation plan.
∎ Develop culinary concepts and menu items in alignment with target market preferences.
∎ Establish kitchen policies and procedures, focusing on safety, hygiene, and international culinary standards.
∎ Recruit and train kitchen staff, instilling quality standards.
∎ Identify equipment, ingredients, and vendor requirements, overseeing procurement to ensure timely setup.
∎ Create and test menu items, recipes, and presentations.
∎ Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless pre-opening transition.
∎ Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, superior portion control, and food presentation.
∎ Manage food cost control, waste reduction, inventory management, and sanitation standards.
∎ Develop and implement innovative culinary concepts.
∎ Collaborate with F&B Manager to design seasonal promotions and special events.
∎ Conduct regular training on food safety and hygiene standards.
∎ Pre-Opening Responsibilities:
