Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
∎ Skills Required: Excellent sales and negotiation skills, Sales & Marketing, Strong communication skills
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed.
∎ Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands business in import segment.
∎ Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships.
∎ Calculate weight, volume, or cost of goods to be moved.
∎ Schedule sales appointments and visit customers per day.
∎ Determine efficient and cost-effective methods of moving goods from one location to another.
∎ Arrange delivery or storage of goods at destinations.
∎ Promote products/services to new and existing customers.
∎ Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship.
∎ Complete shipping documentation, such as including bills of lading, packing lists, dock receipts, and certificates of origin.
∎ Negotiate shipping rates with freight carriers.
∎ Complete customs paperwork.
∎ Provide detailed port information to importers or exporters.
∎ Maintain Credit recover / credit time 40 – 50days.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 36 years
∎ Three or more years of experience in sales in freight forwarding, hands on experience in import.
∎ Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
∎ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
∎ Ability to visit field at least 40% of the time
