∎ Job Summary: Abahani Limited is seeking an efficient and dedicated Executive for the Account Department at the Sheikh Kamal Krira Complex. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the sports complex. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years` experience and be a graduate from a reputable institution. Proficiency in Bangla and English typing, as well as a strong command of Microsoft Excel, is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
∎ Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
∎ 2. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and process payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
∎ Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of dues.
∎ 3. Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
∎ Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and provide regular reports to management.
∎ 4. Expense Tracking: Track and categorize expenses related to various departments within the complex.
∎ Analyze and report on spending trends and cost-saving opportunities.
∎ 5. Bank and Cash Management: Handle day-to-day cash transactions and maintain records.
∎ Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy.
∎ 6. Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports for management and stakeholders.
∎ Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as requested by the management team.
∎ 7. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax, VAT regulations and requirements.
∎ Prepare and file tax, VAT returns as necessary.
∎ 8. Documentation and Filing: Maintain a well-organized and easily accessible system for financial documents and records.
∎ 9. Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
∎ Communicate with external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies, as required.
∎ 10. Language Proficiency: Type and document financial information accurately in both Bangla and English.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 14 years
∎ A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
∎ Proficiency in Bangla and English typing.
∎ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Knowledge of Bangladeshi tax regulations and compliance procedures is a plus.
