∎ Job Summary: Abahani Limited is seeking an efficient and dedicated Civil Engineer to oversee the construction work at the Sheikh Kamal Krira Complex. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects within the complex. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience and hold a degree in civil engineering from a reputable public or private university. Proficiency in AutoCAD drawing and other necessary civil engineering expertise is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Construction Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage construction projects within the complex from inception to completion.
∎ Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
∎ 2. Site Supervision: Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
∎ Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
∎ 3. Contract Management: Review and negotiate construction contracts and agreements.
∎ Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
∎ 4. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain construction standards.
∎ Resolve construction-related issues and discrepancies.
∎ 5. Budget and Cost Control: Prepare and manage construction budgets.
∎ Monitor project costs and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
∎ 6. AutoCAD Design: Create and review detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD.
∎ Collaborate with architects and designers to ensure design specifications are met.
∎ 7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, permits, and regulations.
∎ Liaise with local authorities for necessary approvals.
∎ 8. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges in construction projects and develop mitigation plans.
∎ 9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
∎ Prepare progress reports and updates for stakeholders.
