- 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and utility operations.
- Technical certification in electrical systems With BC License.
- Strong knowledge of three-phase connections, industrial machines, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with government utility bodies and audit procedures.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Organize and prepare the factory for environmental, technical, electrical, fire safety, and ISO audits .
Operate and maintain Gas/Diesel Generators, Compressors, Chillers, and other critical utilities.
Monitor air compressors, generators, water pumps, chillers, and ensure scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
Optimize energy usage (power, steam, air, gas), report utility production, consumption, and waste monthly.
Perform electrical load calculations and select appropriate cables, breakers, distribution boards, and transformers.
Troubleshoot and maintain various electrical machinery and supply systems (HT, LT, generators, transformers), Air Coolers, Solar Panel System.
Prepare drawings, layouts, and execute temporary/site electrification works.
Liaise with REB, DPDC, DESCO, BPDB for sanction load approval, HT line extension, meter testing, and permanent HT connection.
Estimate and plan electrical systems; develop SOPs and train the workforce accordingly.
Lead and develop the maintenance team to achieve plant targets and ensure compliance.
Take on any additional tasks assigned by senior management.
Additional Skill Required:
Motor and Fan motor binding.
Magnetic Conductor.
Circuit Breaker, MCCB, RCCB.
Relay, Timer, Heat Controller.
220V 3 Phase stepdown experience.
HT & LT, Different types of Earthing
