Technical Competencies ·       

• Understanding industrial electrical systems, wiring, voltage stabilizers, UPS, IPS, and lighting.·       

• Strong troubleshooting capability for electrical/electronic appliances used in commercial facilities.·       

• Ability to respond quickly during emergencies.·       

• Basic communication in English and Bangla.

Education:

• SSC with completed Vocational Training / Trade Course in Electrical Engineering.·       

Experience:

• 1–3 years of electrical maintenance experience in commercial or healthcare environments preferred. 

Working Conditions·       

• Shift duty with a rotational roster.·       

• Exposure to electrical plants, machinery, and emergency environments.·       

• Emergency response duties.

Operations & Monitoring

·        Take handover from the previous shift Electrician regarding ongoing operations.

·        Monitor electrical panels of all engineering plants, including UMDB, PDB, and SDB.

·        Regulate and check parameters of Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs).

·        Maintain regular UPS readings and shift logs.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

·        Inspect and rectify problems in electrical equipment and installations.

·        Switch building lights on/off as per schedule and ensure proper functioning.

·        Clean electrical plants, panels, and electrical rooms at scheduled intervals.

·        Identify faults and troubleshoot AHU circuits; escalate major issues to the supervisor.

·        Perform preventive maintenance of LT Panels, MDB, SDB, UPS, Isolation Panels, and electrical fittings as per PMS.

Installation & Repair Works

·        Install electrical distribution boards, PDB boards, and sockets as needed.

·        Perform cabling for ICU bed-head panels, isolation panels in OT/ICU, and other hospital zones.

·        Replace bulbs and lighting fixtures.

·        Ensure installations comply with Fire Safety and ESG standards.

Reporting & Documentation

·        Prepare daily activity reports.

·        Update Employee Logbook regarding major electrical operations.

·        Record PDB peak and off-peak consumption data.

·        Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Support to Departmental Operations

·        Respond to emergency alarms from engineering plants, ESG, and fire safety systems.

·        Receive calls through the maintenance call center and forward them appropriately.

·        Verify gate passes for equipment leaving the premises.

·        Monitor the automated pump plant when assigned.
