• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc. Engg. in EEE).

• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLC, VFD, and control systems.

• Familiarity with electrical drawings, load calculations, and energy audits.

• Good communication and team coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.

Job Context: 

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for 02 skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer. He is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of all electrical systems and equipment within the knit garments composite factory.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery (e.g., knitting machines, dyeing units, compressors, boilers).
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely repairs.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all production units.
• Monitor and maintain control panels, PLC systems, and automation equipment.
• Coordinate with production teams to optimize machine performance and energy use
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with national safety standards and factory regulations.
• Maintain documentation for electrical inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct training for electrical safety awareness.
• Assist in planning and execution of electrical projects (e.g., new machine setup, factory expansion).
• Recommend energy-saving solutions and support sustainability initiatives.
