Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced. An economist (economic analysis, PPP modeling) will join our team. As an economist (economic analysis, PPP modeling), you will be responsible for providing specialized expertise in waste management and sewerage systems to support sustainable development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze economic data from various sources, such as surveys, databases, and statistical agencies.
• Develop economic models to forecast economic trends and test hypotheses.
• Monitor and interpret key economic indicators such as GDP, inflation, employment rates, and trade balances.
• Undertake detailed research on economic issues, trends, and policies. Write reports, research papers, and policy briefs that present findings clearly and concisely.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on economic analysis to guide policymaking and strategic decisions.
• Produce short-term and long-term economic forecasts.
• Conduct scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of different economic conditions and policy changes.
• Identify and evaluate economic risks and uncertainties.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and programs using economic models and empirical data.·
• Assist in the design and implementation of new economic policies and reforms.
• Advise government agencies, businesses, and international organizations on economic policy issues.·
• Work with government officials, business leaders, academics, and other stakeholders to gather insights and validate findings.·
• Present research findings and economic forecasts to stakeholders through presentations, briefings, and public speaking engagements. Provide expert consultation on economic matters to various departments within an organization.
• Continuously monitor economic performance and the impact of policies.
• Prepare evaluation reports that assess the outcomes and effectiveness of economic programs and interventions.·
• Maintain and update economic databases.
• Use data visualization tools to present complex economic data in an accessible and understandable format. 
• Utilize statistical software and econometric tools (e.g., Stata, R, SAS, and E Views) for data analysis and modeling.
• Develop and deliver educational programs and workshops on economic topics. Publish articles in academic journals, industry publications, and popular media to disseminate research findings. Interact with the media to explain economic concepts and trends to the public.
