Job Context:
∎ • HEED Bangladesh is a nonprofit, faith based NGO. Since 1974, HEED Bangladesh has been working in the fields of health, education, agriculture, aquaculture, livestock, forestry, environment & natural resource management, bio-diversity conservation, disaster management, socio-economic development of marginalized and under privileged people, micro finance, nutrition & Hygiene education, water and sanitation, HIV/AIDS, Adolescents and young reproductive health, rural development, awareness raising, arsenic, women empowerment, street children, emergency response ,Heritage preservation and others.
∎ • Documentation and Communication officer) is responsible for quality documentations, lesson learn, stories considering project progress and positive changes in people`s lives throughout the different project implementation period. At the same time, he/she will support project team to develop periodic reports in compliance with project goal, purpose, outcomes and outputs.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Develop different kinds of quality documentations, success stories considering different project progress and positive changes in people's lives throughout the project implementation and achievement
∎ • Prepare news, blog, press release, event reports, Social media content, FB Live or any other promotional content for the website and social media;
∎ • Initiate innovative/new media communication platforms. Support visibility of the different project activities by sharing in Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other media platforms;
∎ • Document lessons learned, challenges and best practices of different projects prepare and preservation
∎ • Prepare communication strategy and tools for the different projects and print media and electronic media;
∎ • Regular update and monitoring to FB/Instagram/Twitter/LinkedIn/ website and other organizational social media;
∎ • Undertake online media campaign with lessons learned and different need based contents;
∎ • Prepare training/orientation/workshop/event reports and press releases for print and electronic media and respective staff of organization;
∎ • Collect stories, photographs, and video from the field during training and field visit and collect from different projects;
∎ • Design with graphic of e-newsletters, quarterly newsletter, reports, banners, leaflets, posters, or any other promotional materials;
∎ • Coordinate activities with organizational Operations department, IT and design department for design of organizational regular social content, poster, banner, sign board and branding materials.
∎ • Assist in collating material and drafting opinion pieces for newspapers and policy briefs;
∎ • Monitor and manage all information flow mechanism and assist the operations team;
∎ • Monitor and evaluate branding of all communication materials for external and internal use as per donor and organizations requirement;
∎ • Support the different project team to develop monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reports along with design and PPT Presentation;
∎ • Produce presentation, reports and stories of the seminars/workshops organized by the different project;
∎ • Prepare and edit press releases, program related progress reports and documents;
∎ • Perform any other duties assigned by the operations Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ • Strong knowledge and skills in communication and documentation
∎ • Experience with computer-aided design and Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator or any other that your organization prefers
∎ • Good computer skills on MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Graphic design etc.
∎ • Professional fluency in English - both written and verbal.
∎ • Able to undertake travel as required.
∎ Total Years of Experience:
∎ • Minimum 3 years of experience in same filed
∎ • Experience with same responsibility will be an advantage.
