Job Context:
∎ Currently, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for suitable Bangladeshi national for the following position under UNHCR supported "Bhasanchar Operation (BCO)":
∎ Duration of contract: Till 31st December 2023 (with the possibility of extension).
∎ Reporting to: Coordinator, Bhasan Char Operation.
∎ Duty station: Bhasan Char, Hatiya Noakhali.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize and facilitate periodic and timely distribution of NFI, LGP and other assistance to the refugees.
∎ Liaise with the warehouse/logistics department to ensure proper disseverments of items for distribution and to ensure proper documentation.
∎ Liaise with the UNHCR Field Team, to ensure proper plan, modality, distribution center and other distribution-related components.
∎ Ensure proper reporting through Activity Info and other formats prescribed by UNHCR.
∎ Facilitate awareness sessions and FGDs to ensure proper use of the distributed items among the community.
∎ Maintain proper coordination with the CiC, to obtain timely approvals of planned activities.
∎ Support the Site Management team in the field activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years of working experience in a relevant field.
∎ Good knowledge on MS office (Word, Excel and other relevant tools).
∎ Good Knowledge of Mobile data collection system like KoBo toolbox, ODK.
∎ Excellent knowledge of 7 principals of RCRC Movement.
∎ Ability to priorities, multi-task and meet deadline.
∎ Good liaison and negotiation skill.
∎ Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.
∎ Act at all times in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
∎ Able to work in a team and respects opinions of others.
∎ Honest and high level of integrity.
∎ Assist the organization on occasion, in times of national, international, local emergencies or major disasters.
∎ Age: 36 years (age limit will be relaxed in case of the potential candidate).

Salary: Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
