Job Context:
∎ Currently, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for suitable Bangladeshi national for the following position under UNHCR supported "Bhasanchar Operation (BCO)":
∎ Duration of contract: Till 31st December 2023. (with the possibility of extension).
∎ Reporting to: Distribution Officer, Bhasan Char Operation.
∎ Duty station: Bhasan Char, Hatiya Noakhali.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with the Distribution Officer to conduct proficient and timely distribution.
∎ Ensure proper standard distribution center and maintain standard distribution protocol.
∎ Distribute token/invitation card and disseminate proper information to the community regarding the distribution.
∎ Active participation in the distribution process of Noon-Food Items, LPG, Hygiene Items and any other assistance.
∎ Support the UNHCR litigation team to find out the problems, implement the solution or refer to the concerned department.
∎ Ensure standard Complain Feedback Mechanism in the distribution center.
∎ Priorities Extreme Vulnerable Individuals in the distribution and provide porter service to them.
∎ Maintain proper documentation by finding out the backlogs.
∎ Liaison with relevant actors for the implementation of proper distribution chain.
∎ Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting coordinating with the Distribution Officer.
∎ Support the Site Management sectoral activity of BDRCS in Bhasan Char.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 01 year of working experience in relevant field.
∎ Good knowledge on MS office (Word, Excel and other relevant tools).
∎ Good Knowledge of Mobile data collection system like KoBo toolbox, ODK
∎ Excellent knowledge of 7 principals of RCRC Movement.
∎ Ability to priorities, multi-task and meet deadline.
∎ Good liaison and negotiation skill.
∎ Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.
∎ Act at all times in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
∎ Able to work in a team and respects opinions of others.
∎ Honest and high level of integrity.
∎ Assist the organization on occasion, in times of national, international, local emergencies or major disasters.
∎ Age limit :36 years (age limit will be relaxed in case of the potential candidate).
Salary: Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
