Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
∎ Chartered Accountant
∎ With thorough knowledge of:
∎ Direct Tax, Corporate Tax (Income Tax & Double Tax Avoidance Agreement)
∎ Corporate Law & International Tax & Transfer Pricing
∎ Foreign Exchange Regulation and Transfer Pricing
∎ Basic knowledge of indirect tax and accounting aspects

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Consulting Firms

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The tasks, roles and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of a Director will include the following:
∎ Overall responsibility for client management, client development, business development initiatives, including proposals and subsequent wins.
∎ Independently handle Advisory and Compliance engagements related to Direct Tax laws, such as Tax Structuring, Advisory, on-going Compliance and Litigation support, etc.
∎ Ability to independently analyze and interpret provisions under the Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 , related circulars, "paripatras" as also provisions pertaining to International Tax, dealing with interpretation of Tax Treaties
∎ Ability to independently analyze and interpret Transfer Pricing provisions under the Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 as also the regulations under the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development
∎ Independently responsible for execution and management of the assigned engagements
∎ Strong relationship with client senior management and C-suite executives
∎ Strong project management and engagement economic skills, including proactively addressing issues and staying ahead of budget concerns
∎ Lead the engagements proactively in helping to build practice and in sourcing work
∎ Ability to provide comprehensive solutions taking into account varied laws such as Corporate Tax, Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, Corporate Law, etc.
∎ Leverage subject matter expertise to provide innovative solutions on an on-going basis
∎ Ability to connect with other Lines of Service and act as Lead Client Manager
∎ Delivering sessions at external forums, industry events and internal Learning and Education ('L&E') sessions
∎ Active in knowledge sharing, contribution of Thought Leadership, article writing, etc.
∎ Develop team through challenging assignments and supporting coaching, developing trust relationships and recognizing and rewarding contributions

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10 to 12 years of post-qualification relevant work experience
∎ Experienced in cross border transactions with in-depth knowledge of tax treaties and OECD guidelines
∎ Experienced in entity formation in Bangladesh
∎ Represented in tax conferences as speaker
∎ Working knowledge of transfer pricing laws
∎ Other prerequisite skills include:
∎ Demonstrating innovative and critical thinking in managing projects
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
∎ Strong analytical and numerical skills
∎ Well-rounded commercial and economic awareness and understanding of the financial markets
∎ Good interpersonal and networking skills
∎ Passion for client servicing
∎ Number crunching ability
∎ Excellent eye for detail
∎ Efficiency in MS office and report writing skills
∎ Motivated, creative and decisive in approach to problem solving
∎ Ownership and responsibility of clients/tasks delegated
