• Strong leadership and adoptability skills.
• Flexibility based on the business requirement.
• Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.

Unique Group is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director – Engineering (MEP) to lead and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering operations across multiple projects under Unique Group. The ideal candidate should possess extensive technical expertise in MEP systems, a proven track record of managing large-scale commercial and hospitality (five-star hotels) projects, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.

• Lead the planning, design, execution, and commissioning of MEP systems for commercial, hospitality, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Supervise and guide internal engineering teams and external consultants/contractors for timely and quality MEP execution.
• Visit the hotels under Unique Hotel & Resort PLC regularly and guide the engineering team accordingly.
• Review and approve MEP designs, BOQs, technical specifications, cost estimates, and shop drawings.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with project management, architects, structural engineers, and site managers for smooth integration of MEP works.
• Assist the procurement team in vendor selections, technical bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and progress reviews to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Implement energy-efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions in all engineering deliverables.
• Provide strategic direction for technological upgrades and innovations in MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines across all project sites.
• Report to top management on project progress, risks, resource needs, and engineering performance on a regular basis.
• Train the team members of the group, hospitality, and other wings.
• Ensure a proper successor for the critical and leading positions.
• Perform any other engineering or management duties assigned by the higher authority.
