∎ Bachelor's Degree in media, journalism, communications or another relevant related subject;

Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Dhaka based with frequent field visit
∎ The duration of the contract will be till 31 January 2020. The contract may be extended subject to the extension of the project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead on setting up and maintaining social media platforms for the project, in accordance with guidelines from the European Union and the British Council;
∎ Lead on maintaining and regularly updating content on the Platforms for Dialogue website and other digital platforms including Facebook, to include text articles, photographs, video and other types of content as required;
∎ Edit to a high standard content supplied by team members or partners for use on the website and other digital platforms;
∎ Support the delivery of capacity-building training for our partners on digital media and storytelling;
∎ Contribute to donor reports on the use and impact of digital media to achieve the project's aims;
∎ Deliver basic training to a small number of colleagues and/or partners to equip them on telling stories and create simple content for digital platforms;
∎ Contribute to the design of guidelines to govern the use of digital media for the Platforms for Dialogue project;
∎ Provide digital support across all activity areas and with the community centres;
∎ Lead and coordinate digital technical issues including audio visual making, websites and use of other digital platforms;
∎ Lead digital platform marketing in consultation with the Senior Communication Officer.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Expertise on Digital Marketing Strategy will be preferred;
∎ Ability to create digital content using digital camera, smartphone, apps or other technology is highly desirable.
∎ Fluent in written and spoken English and Bangla to a professional standard;
∎ Proven ability to edit text stories to a high standard in English and Bangla;
∎ At least two years' experience working in a development project or a recognised media organisation;
∎ Highly-developed knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in digital storytelling;
∎ Experience of developing and maintaining social media accounts for a media organisation or development project;
∎ Demonstrated experience of creating high levels of audience engagement with digital content;
