Then he received his internship training from Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital, Dhaka in 1995. He received his post-Graduation in MS Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and achieved the highest mark in 2006. He also achieved Director Generals Award for Best Academic Performance in the 20th BCS Health Cadre Training in 2009. Further he completed his Fellowship from Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) degree in 2020 from USA and completed his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) in 2021 successfully.
