Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Execute buy and sell orders for securities on behalf of clients or the brokerage firm.
∎ Monitor stock market activities and trends to identify trading opportunities.
∎ Ensure all trades comply with DSE regulations and the firm’s policies.
∎ Conduct market research and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
∎ Stay updated on economic trends, corporate developments, and market news impacting stock performance.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their investment goals and risk appetite.
∎ Provide clients with real-time updates on their investments and market conditions.
∎ Adhere to all DSE trading regulations and ensure accurate record-keeping of transactions.
∎ Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly trading reports to the brokerage firm and relevant authorities.
∎ Monitor and manage trading risks, including tracking margin requirements and limits.
∎ Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with trades or market fluctuations.
∎ Operate trading platforms and software provided by the DSE or the brokerage firm.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the trading systems.
∎ If needed train up the clients about trading of stock, strategies, market trends, and DSE processes.
∎ Provide guidance on portfolio diversification and long-term investment strategies.
∎ Work closely with the research and compliance teams to align trading activities with market insights and regulatory standards.
∎ Share market insights with team members to support collective decision-making.
∎ Key Responsibilities
