Minimum 14–15 years of experience in a reputed Yarn Dyeing Factory, including at least 5 years in a Leading or department head role.
Strong knowledge of reactive, disperse, and vat dye processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Sound technical knowledge of dyeing machinery
Data-driven decision-making and process optimization mindset
Strong communication and coordination ability
Responsibilities & Context:
To lead and manage the entire yarn dyeing production process efficiently, ensuring the achievement of production targets, maintaining high quality standards, minimizing costs, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational guidelines.
Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Execution
Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans aligned with delivery schedules.
Ensure proper sequencing and batch scheduling for maximum machine utilization.
Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
2. Process Control & Efficiency
Supervise all stages of yarn dyeing — from preparation, dyeing, hydro-extraction, drying, to re-winding.
Ensure correct recipe formulation, chemical dosing, and machine parameters.
Continuously analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve productivity.
3. Quality Assurance
Maintain strict control over shade matching, color fastness, and quality parameters.
Coordinate with the QA department to resolve any non-conformity or re-dye issues.
Ensure adherence to buyer quality standards and lab dips approvals.
4. People Management
Supervise and guide production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
Develop team skills through regular training and mentoring.
Maintain discipline, teamwork, and a positive work environment on the production floor.
5. Cost & Resource Management
Optimize the use of dyes, chemicals, water, and utilities to minimize wastage.
Monitor machine maintenance schedules and reduce downtime.
Control labor cost, overtime, and process-related expenses.
6. Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with factory safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Implement 5S and sustainable production practices.
Maintain documentation and readiness for audits (buyer, compliance, or technical).
7. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports and performance summaries.
Liaise with planning, maintenance, R&D, and supply chain departments.
Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic decisions.
