• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management or department-head role.

• Proven experience in RMG, textile, garments manufacturing, or export-oriented manufacturing.

• Practical experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, material planning, inventory control, supplier negotiations, and logistics management.

• Experience managing supply chain operations across multiple factories or business units will be preferred.

• Strong strategic planning, analytical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent negotiation, supplier relationship management, and commercial judgment.

• Sound understanding of RMG manufacturing processes, material consumption, lead times, and production planning.

• Expertise in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, cost analysis, and supplier performance management.

• Knowledge of MRP, ERP systems, supply chain analytics, and MS Excel.

• Strong leadership, team management, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, operational risks, and time-sensitive production requirements.

• High integrity, accountability, transparency, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Job Context:

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and results-driven DGM / GM – Supply Chain Management to lead the end-to-end supply chain operations of our RMG manufacturing business. The incumbent will be responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, material planning, inventory control, logistics coordination, cost optimization, and timely material availability to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time shipment. The role requires close coordination with Merchandising, Planning, Commercial, Production, Accounts & Finance, and other relevant departments to optimize lead time, control costs, improve operational efficiency, and achieve sustainable business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement group-wide supply chain strategies, policies, and SOPs aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Lead sourcing and procurement of fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging materials, and other production requirements at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.

• Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Ensure accurate material planning based on confirmed orders, approved consumption, production schedules, and lead times to prevent shortages and production disruptions.

• Supplier Management & Negotiation: Develop reliable supplier networks, negotiate prices and commercial terms, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Inventory & Warehouse Management: Ensure effective inventory control, stock accuracy, optimal inventory levels, and reduction of excess, obsolete, and slow-moving materials.

• Production & Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Commercial, Procurement, Store, Production, and Accounts & Finance teams to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time shipment.

• Cost Optimization & Budget Control: Identify opportunities to reduce procurement, logistics, and inventory costs while ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to approved budgets.

• Logistics & Distribution Management: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, material movement, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.

• Commercial & Import Coordination: Coordinate with the Commercial Department regarding import planning, LC requirements, customs clearance, and timely delivery of imported materials.

• Supplier Performance Monitoring: Establish supplier performance indicators covering cost, quality, lead time, delivery reliability, and responsiveness; implement corrective actions where necessary.

• ERP & Supply Chain Digitalization: Ensure effective utilization of ERP systems for procurement, inventory management, purchase tracking, material allocation, and supply chain reporting.

• Risk Management & Business Continuity: Identify supply chain risks, including material shortages, supplier dependency, price fluctuations, and logistics disruptions, and develop appropriate contingency plans.

• Compliance & Procurement Governance: Ensure transparent procurement practices, adherence to approval procedures, proper documentation, ethical sourcing, and compliance with company policies.

• MIS & Performance Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on procurement status, material availability, inventory ageing, supplier performance, cost savings, and supply chain efficiency to senior management.

• Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Lead and develop the supply chain team, establish departmental KPIs, monitor performance, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
