Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters degree in Development studies, Emergency, DRR, Statistics, Sociology, or related field or any other relevant subject from any recognized university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Camp Coordination, Camp management, Emergency Response Operation, Site Management

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure community mobilizers are effectively working to identify gaps, problems and other community needs and linking effectively with the various service providers in the camp.
∎ Support in the recruitment and management of Safety Unit Volunteers (SUVs) and Site Management Sector (SMS) volunteers.
∎ Promote peaceful coexistence between the refugees and host community and to taking a leading role in addressing any problems, issues, or any conflicts between them.
∎ Assist regular community needs assessments and ensure work plans are reviewed to capture and respond to the changing needs within communities.
∎ Submit brief daily and weekly reports and as may be required by BRAC and the donor agency.
∎ Ensure continuous site monitoring and to identify issues and gaps geared towards timely repairs and maintenance of infrastructure and to coordinate with other service providers as necessary.
∎ Undertake information dissemination and awareness raising sessions within communities to ensure that they are well informed on services and providers including any new changes in camp management.
∎ Support the team leader in monitoring the work of service providers and ensure refugees have unhindered access to services and are receiving high quality services. To bring to the attention of the CIC when standards are not being met.
∎ Support in the recruitment and management of Safety Unit Volunteers (SUVs) and Site Management Sector (SMS) volunteers.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Support the CIC by providing regular updates and reports as well as supporting in sector level and camp coordination meetings.
∎ Represent BRAC in coordination and collaboration meetings and others with the government, the UN and other NGOs and agencies at the camp level.
∎ Develop and maintain good working relationships with communities and other stakeholder.
∎ Ensure the work of the various service providers is well coordinated to avoid overlaps, duplication, and conflicts and to assist such providers in obtaining work approvals from the CIC. In particular, the DTL should ensure all service providers have the relevant RRRC authorization to operate in the camps.
∎ Contribute to work planning, budgeting and ensure activity implementation is undertaken on time and within laid budgets.
∎ Undertake budget planning, tracking, and updating to ensure that the budget is always up to date and correctives measures taken when issues are raised regarding the budget.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
