Responsibilities & Context:

This position will be responsible for the overall project implementation and will facilitate the day-to-day functioning of the project team under the direct supervision of the Project Manager.

  • Monitor project input and activities and manage progress against the outcomes defined in the project document.

  • Responsible for implementing the activities as per annual implementation plan and review work plan.

  • Monitor the project’s resource are properly utilized and check bill, voucher with transparency.

  • Prepare proposals for mobilization of human, technical or financial resources as per project’s demand.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly narrative progress reports, and organize monthly and quarterly progress reviews.

  • Coordinate and manage to implement day-to-day procurement and logistic support in line with BRAC policy.

  • Undertake regular field visits to provide technical guidance and supervision as well as regularly monitor the progress of project activities.

  • Make extensive visits to the project locations in order to ensure smooth implementation of the project activities.

  • Coordinate the distribution of responsibilities amongst team members and organize monitoring and tracking system of all components of the project.

  • Facilitate donors to conduct field visits as and when required.

  • Maintain effective liaison/interaction with relevant local government institutions, national and international agencies, NGOs, local stakeholders and other relevant implementing partners of the project.

  • Manage the WASH team human resources and provide technical support, training and capacity building.

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
