SKILLS: Budgeting and accounting, accounting software skills, communication, researching, writing, monitoring and evaluating, preparing reports, auditing, analysing budgets, project implementation

COMPETENCIES: Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders



Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

This position will ensure execution of school operation and supervise the project officer accordingly and identification of the operational risk factors proactively.

  • Guide and supervise project officer and field facilitators in obtaining sectoral objectives.

  • Ensure Execution of the school operating plan and oversee logistics of centres and overall management.

  • Liaison with local community and stakeholders to represent BRAC appropriately.

  • Ensure proper use of teaching learning materials in classroom and maintain stock position accordingly.

  • Ensure capacity building of the field staff.

  • Arrange and lead field sectoral meetings.

  • Attend coordination meetings with CiC, UNO and other govt. officials.

  • Ensure Identification of the operational risk factors of the programme proactively and address those issues properly.

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
