Applicants having any training or professional certifications in marine survey will get preference.

• Practical experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Office packages and relevant software/ tools.
• Excellent organizational & leadership skills.
• Sound communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit.

• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations to ensure efficient execution of survey related all jobs.

• Monitor and manage administration & accounting related matters.

• Organize the duty sequence of survey department employees and supervise & monitor their daily activities to ensure smooth survey functions.

• Coordination of employees all the survey dept. to maintain official decorum, discipline & punctuality.

• Monitor and ensure the personal safety of survey department’s employees are follows properly while working on board mother vessel and lighter vessels.

• Provide briefing and special care to be taken during bad weather and while boarding/disembarking the mother vessels and lighters.

• Manage, coach, control and motivate the team to develop their performance and provide proper training to the new employees for personal safety and operational works.

• Participate in initial and final draft surveys of food items during loading on cargo ships and join the consignee surveyor to monitor survey activities and be present at all tank soundings for survey requirements.

• Ensure the proper sealing, security & safety of all cargo loaded on lighter vessels prior to sail out from Chattogram to other destinations.

• Report all necessary information’s to relevant concerns in due time.

• Keep track to prevent cargo handling loss in both mother vessel & lighter vessels and communicate with the concerns to solve problem.

• Liaise with the lighters dept., lighter masters, stevedores’, related departments on regular basis for operational requirements when required.

• Coordinate with the local shipping agent regarding the mother vessel`s arrival & departure.
