∎ Strong knowledge of garment pattern making, grading, and marker making.
∎ Proficiency in CAD software Optitex.
∎ Leadership and team management skills.
∎ Collaborate with various teams to resolve fabric-related issues and provide technical guidance.
∎ Identify and resolve fabric-related quality issues before production input, addressing issues like shrinkage mismatch, curling, or shade variation.
∎ Solve fabric-related issues during cutting or sewing.
∎ Should have a hard-working tenancy.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure patterns are accurate, production-friendly, and aligned with buyer tech packs/specifications.
∎ Approve fit samples, size sets, and pre-production patterns.
∎ Manage pattern digitization, grading, and marker-making processes with maintaining an organised digital pattern library.
∎ Optimise marker efficiency to minimise fabric wastage.
∎ Approve markers for bulk cutting, ensuring proper grain line, pattern alignment, and matching requirements (stripes, checks, etc.).
∎ Collaborate with sampling, merchandising, production, and quality teams for smooth sample development and bulk production.
∎ Resolve pattern-related issues arising during sampling, cutting, and sewing.
∎ Participate in fit sessions with buyers/technical teams.
∎ Recommend and implement pattern corrections after fittings.
∎ Implement best practices in pattern making and CAD utilization.
∎ Continuously improve fabric utilisation and pattern accuracy.
∎ Maintain records of pattern revisions, approvals, and marker efficiencies.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management.
