Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Master of Science (MSc)

• The candidate should have BSc in Agriculture/ Master of Science in Genetics and Pant Breeding from any government approved institute with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations.

• At least 4 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

• Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential Candidates

• Experience in relevant field will be given preference

• Have practical knowledge planning and execution of Breeding related research works, managing product development, product evaluation activities, product advancement processes and People Management

• Solution driven, smart, approachable and possesses ability to work with people from different backgrounds

• Able to work under stress situation

• Able to manage any unwanted situation

• Develop a research objective; prepare yearly research action plan

• Provide technical support to vegetable research team for develop the desirable varieties

• Ensure required best quality nuclear, breeder and foundation seed of all parents and confirm genetic purity 

• Maintain liaison with the seed production and marketing for collect market demand

• Collect new technology from different research institutes 

• Supervise, monitor and evaluate of all research activities

• Develop the staff through field visit, counseling, training, monthly meeting, workshop etc.

• Prepare the periodic, annual research report and collect germplasm from different local sources

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
