∎ JOB PURPOSE: Deputy Manager-Technical (Livelihood and Climate Change) will support the programme participants for improving livelihoods through entrepreneurship and market development. Implementation of the project in the field level, supervising, monitoring Programme Organiser, ensuring the project interventions` quality, and training the Programme Organiser and other stakeholders. To ensure project quality and supervise project implementation and day to day implementation involving community people, onsite supervision of works to guide Programme Organiser (PO) of the project in each of the respective upazila, prepare report for Project Manager.
∎ Location: BRAC Field Office

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Deputy Manager (Livelihood and Climate Change) will be in charge of respective upazilas to ensure project quality, financial management and supervise project implementation.
∎ Planning & budgeting of implementation of the activities depending on target with timeline.
∎ Coordinate with BRAC personnel, BRAC relevant programme and other related stakeholders & NGOs, primary coordination with contractors in relevant cases.
∎ Provide support to Project Manager and supervision, monitoring, follow up, guidance to the POs and project participants.
∎ Liaison with the government and non-government stakeholders, local government representative, private sector enterprises, NGOs, project participants, arrange different types of meeting, workshop and social mobilization.
∎ Ensure project report and documentation of MIS, M&E, case study.
∎ Establish collection center for market access to the small farm producers and Linkages with input and output market, private sector enterprise and establish market channel in haor & IP content.
∎ Provide technical knowledge and extension/ provide technical support especially on agricultural based activities agriculture production, livestock management & treatment, IGA and climate resilience related activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ MS Office, (specially in Word, Exel and PowerPoint), Report writing, Team building.
∎ Knowledge on agriculture, livestock and livelihood related activities with market and value chain development, social issues, gender, entrepreneurship development.
∎ Work with different supply chain actors (Input company , dealer, agent, output market actors like Arotdar, wholesalers, collectors) for smallholders farmers backward and forward linkage development.
∎ Conducting regular meeting, session, communication with different market hub, collection center management committee for developing effective market linkage.
∎ Review the challenges and opportunities for further improvement.
∎ Facilitation and interpersonal skills with communication and presentation skills.
∎ Understanding on disaster management, adaptation and climate change.
∎ Report preparation, lesson learned, training facilitation, budget preparation, M&E and MIS, able to work under pressure.
∎ Able to develop training modules and technical guideline of producer groups, market and value chain development, establishment and functioning collection centers, institutional and social development intervention.
∎ 2 years of working experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
