Bachelor`s in any discipline from any recognised university.
Minimum 2 years of experience is preferable on business/marketing/development/communication.
Basic knowledge on social media campaigns & contents, development sector and ideas on developing communications materials.
Content development, relationship building, project management, event management, public speaking, creative writing, blogging, editorial writing, reporting, visual storytelling skill is required.
Effective competences on facilitating group meetings, developing work and project plans, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, reporting, multitasking, travelling.

Job Purpose
To support communication unit in positioning BRAC’s microfinance programme as one of the leading providers of microfinance in the world in terms of scale and impact, quality and innovation of products, client-centric design, customer service and client protection, and provision of financial services for excluded groups.
Key Responsibilities
To conceptualise, produce and design communication strategy, presentation, plan, task calendar & contents such as articles with case studies, factsheets, research briefs, and digital contents for internal and external use; managing materials and information resources such as presentations for external visitors.
To establish and maintain strategic relationships with peers, internal and external stakeholders.
To support programme team members with writing, editorial support, creative design and establish linkage with other support units.
To provide effective support of programme’s external and internal communication needs as required.
To ensure agreed programme communication strategy and key messages are met and are consistent with BRAC’s core values and central communication policies.
To make sure Stakeholder management, project management, and coordination.
To participate actively in different forum and facilitate cross programme collaboration and learning in both HO and field level.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case a reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
