Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Deputy Manager - OST will be working as per National and SC HIV/AIDS program guidelines and under the guidance of Senior manager-PWID and CST Interventions.
∎ S/he will be responsible for assisting in planning and implementation of Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) service delivery, maintaining functional linkages with partners, donor agencies, Department of Narcotics Control (DNC), National AIDS/STD Program and other stakeholders.
∎ S/he will be responsible for overall management, planning and delivery of OST program scale up, which includes establishment of new OST centre, orientation of the relevant program staff, training conduction and guide staff to ensure effective OST service delivery for PWID.
∎ The incumbent will support the development and implementation of OST and ART management strategies appropriate for the target population as well as implementing organizations.
∎ S/he will provide required technical support to partners in consultation with Supervisor/Sr. Manager-PWID and CST Interventions.
∎ S/he will be responsible for organizing and participating in joint monitoring with DNC, ASP, PR M&E, Grants and PSM team and the representatives of SRs/SSRs.
∎ S/he will also be responsible to provide event reports and periodic progress reports of this component.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of working experience including 3 years in a managerial/equivalent position.
∎ Proven experience of working in OST and ART program management will be added value.
∎ Experience of working with the people living with HIV and PWID will be considered as an advantage.
∎ Excellent managerial and coordination skills to establish efficient working relations and develop partnership with DNC/ASP/Government Agencies, NGOs/SRs, GoB Health facilities and relevant stakeholders
∎ Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication skills both in English and Bangla.
