  • Knowledge of all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing insurance and financial services in Bangladesh.

  • Understanding of Service Level Agreements, their components, key performance indicators.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey product information, promotional messages, and updates to diverse audiences.

  • Capacity to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, draw actionable insights.

  • Strong drive to achieve and exceed targets related to client enrollment, new product adoption, and operational efficiency.

  • Capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners, donors, and field staff.

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience including at least 1 year in health insurance/life insurance/micro-insurance and 1 year in field operation.

Job Purpose

This position supports the implementation and enhancement of microinsurance operations across BRAC’s field offices. The Deputy Manager contributes to stakeholder coordination, product rollout, and campaign execution. The role ensures accurate enrollment processes, data integrity, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support client enrollment operations by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining data accuracy across field offices.

  • Assist in product development by conducting market assessments and identifying microinsurance needs aligned with client profiles.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth rollout and implementation of microinsurance products and campaigns.

  • Monitor and analyze enrollment data to evaluate performance trends and identify areas for operational improvement.

  • Ensure stakeholder engagement by supporting communication with donors, partners, and internal teams to ensure timely information flow.

  • Provide operational support to field staff by offering guidance on product usage and process enhancements to improve service delivery.

  • Conduct field visits to gather insights, monitor competitive activity, and assess the effectiveness of microinsurance initiatives.

  • Support SLA management by tracking service quality and accountability in collaboration with insurers and partners.

  • Assist in campaign execution including preparing promotional materials and coordinating field-level activities to boost client awareness.

  • Assist in product development by conducting market assessments and identifying microinsurance needs aligned with client profiles.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
