Minimum 5 years in a Pharmaceuticals Industry.
Responsibilities & Context:
Plan and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company’s production and business goals.
Source, evaluate, and finalize suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials and engineering spares.
Negotiate price, payment terms and contracts with suppliers to ensure best value for the company.
Manage import-related activities such as LC opening, shipment follow-up, customs clearance and coordination with C&F agents.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with DGDA, NBR other relevant regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Accounts and Warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Maintain supplier database and regularly assess supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing).
Prepare purchase plans, cost analysis reports and procurement budgets for management review.
Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement and improve procurement policies, SOPs and ERP systems for better transparency and efficiency.
