Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA/Master's in Accounting/Finance/Banking/Economics from reputed university.
∎ Candidates having any relevant professional qualification e.g. CA partly qualified will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regular review of capital market developments & operations, and various customer related operation as well as other issues (overall Merchant Banking Operation).
∎ To assist in preparation of contracts and agreements as may be required which may also include liaison with legal counsels.
∎ Ensure all compliance requirements of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, Bangladesh Bank, RJSC, NBR and other regulatory bodies and liaison with the Regulatory authorities to be compliant.
∎ Complying with all margin loan related rules and regulations.
∎ Ensure proper accounting and records of all business transaction.
∎ Reconciliation of different statement of accounts & generation of various reports.
∎ Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements & coordinate with external auditors.
∎ To undertake any other duties as may be required and assigned by the Managing Director, Chairman/Vice Chairman/Board of Directors from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Capital Market Investment and Relationship Management, Merchant Bank Investment.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both language (English and Bangla).
∎ Possess good communication.
∎ Ability to work with team and build consensus in diverse settings.
∎ Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines.
∎ Knowledge about merchant bank related laws & directives issued by BSEC.
∎ Knowledge of diverse business functions and principles.
∎ Should be positive in attitude, result-oriented & ready to take challenges.
∎ Special Skill /Training:
∎ Capital Marker related training
∎ Proficiency on email, MS office applications such as MS word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
