Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Deputy Manager /Manager Finance & Accounts will play a vital role in improving and maintaining the financial & accounting standing of the company. The ideal candidate will help to execute financial accounting strategies and policies, and provide assist to the supervisor to make standard strategies and policies.
∎ Examine and analyze accounting records, financial statement or other financial reports.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly, statutory accounts & ensure that the books of accounts have been maintained in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS's) and International Accounting Standards (IAS's) as adopted in Bangladesh, Companies Act and other rules and regulations as applicable for the Company.
∎ Manage, supervise and analyze all treasury related activities such as cash management, foreign remittance, cash forecasting, exchange rate monitoring etc. and approve process control as per pre-approved limits to minimize risks.
∎ Maintain account and prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
∎ Manage relationship with bank, bank account and conduct bank payment operations.
∎ Check the payment and make out invoices to ensure the normal operation of receiving and payment (AR and AP).
∎ Maintain accounting documents and records.
∎ Ensure compliance with corporate laws, responsible to ensure company assets are adequately insured and keep an account in the book keeping software.
∎ Maintain good communication with all branches.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years working experience in recognized Airlines/Online travel Agency/Travel Agency / Tourism industry.
∎ Sound knowledge of Airline, Travel Agency Accounts and Finance operation.
∎ Good command in spoken and written English.
