Education:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Banking

CA (Chartered Accountancy) course completed (CA CC) is required.

Part-qualified ICAB will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:

·         Ensure proper implementation of financial policies and procedures at the strategic level through supervising and guiding the team for managing the overall activities of accounting and financial functions by maintaining co-ordination with different functional lines such as Supply chain Dept, Sales Dept, Marketing Dept, and Factory.

·         Ensure proper administration of company accounts, cash, and bank transactions, receipt and payment statement, cash and fund flow statement, stock record, trial balance, TAX and VAT management, etc.

·         In-depth knowledge of Bangladeshi TAX laws and regulations (Income Tax Ordinance, VAT Act, Customs Act, etc.).

·         Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.

·         Examining and analyzing accounting records, prepare financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

·         Ensuring compliance with tax and VAT deduction at source and other tax requirements.

·         Ensuring that the company is fully compliant with Taxation, RJSC, and Internal and External audits.

·         Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize the company’s tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

·         Proficient in Tally/ERP software, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
