Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The Deputy Manager, Knowledge Management will provide dedicated and active engagement on the full cycle of BAMA award management. This role is responsible for Knowledge Management with BRAC`s policies and with USAID requirements. This role will help to ensure accurate, complete, and reliable information is maintained in BRAC`s Knowledge Management systems. The incumbent will work closely with the Knowledge Management unit/MEL team in these efforts. The Deputy Manager-Knowledge Management will liaise with relevant stakeholders, particularly with the Knowledge Management unit/MEL Unit of BRAC staff as needed, and will problem-solve to instill overall health of subgrantee awards, escalating issues to leadership as needed.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provides vision, technical leadership, and management support for the project's knowledge management activities and ensure their alignment with the overall project goal and objectives.
∎ Develops, leads, and oversees implementation of strategies and tools to foster knowledge sharing throughout the project with a range of audiences.
∎ Monitors and evaluates project knowledge sharing efforts and opportunities for process improvement.
∎ Supports production of timely and accurate financial and programmatic reports as required.
∎ Develop and implement the knowledge management (KM) strategy (within project team and partner levels)
∎ Support the MEL Officer in implementing a cross-team approach to MEL and KM to build strong, productive relationships with all staff functions and partners
∎ Support the integration and monitoring of value for resources' dimensions in the overall MEL framework.
∎ Support in developing systems and procedures so that proposals for implementation include robust MEL plans
∎ Identify capacity needs and build capacity of partners in relation to MEL and KM
∎ Support in the capturing the key results for quarterly and annual reporting

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent knowledge of USAID, federal acquisition laws and regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and USAID Acquisition Regulation (AIDAR).
∎ Good analytical, communication, writing and project management skills.
∎ Proficiency with Google Suite, MS Office. Experience with Slack, Salesforce or other collaboration platforms.Highly organized, strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.
∎ Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
∎ Excellent in cross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge, and understanding.
∎ Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on diverse teams, both in-person and remotely, and work with different stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
∎ Excellent team player with strong desire to learn and ability to be flexible.
∎ Ability to participate in international calls outside standard working hours.
∎ Ability to work in a hybrid work environment which includes both in-office and remote work arrangements.
∎ Flexible to travel both domestically and internationally when required.
∎ Minimum 03 years' experience in grants and contracts with the US government and other donors.
