Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate and follow up inquiry plan, follow-up and conduct effective inquiry for partner NGOs under pooled fund project with assessing the risk, develop checklist, prepare questionnaires with probable list of interviewees, Documents, or Evidence
∎ Review and quality check of inquiry report of partner NGOs and send it to review team for conducting the review hearing session
∎ Prepare donor compliance report regarding PSHEA and review inquiry report of others on need basis for assisting the team manager to ensure submission of the report on time
∎ Coordinate and collaborate with partner NGOs to organize orientation/training session for capacity building of partners on standard inquiry process
∎ Conduct inquiry and prima facie as per requirement following the inquiry procedure and guideline/SOP/HRPP and all associate policies by maintaining confidentiality to find out the actual fact
∎ Conclude the inquiry by collecting statement of relevant witnesses and evidence/documents for maintaining the objectivity of inquiry
∎ Submit final report to respective Manager within stipulated time by maintaining quality of presenting in the SGMC forum
∎ Attend SGMC forum and actively present inquiry findings with evidence/documents for taking proper decision by the forum members
∎ Play a significant role for successful conduction of Ombudsperson’s hearing
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ This position will coordinate and collaborate with partner NGO and conduct inquiry of different partner NGO’s of pooled fund project and follow-up the cases under investigations and conduct investigations of HCMP cases as per requirement, complying with BRAC inquiry Guidelines, BRAC HRPP, safeguarding Policy, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Exploitation & Abuse (PSHEA) to produce qualitative reports for achieving organisational goal
