Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Sciences/Environmental Science/MDS/DRM, or related discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years experience, preferably in risk reduction projects
∎ Knowledge on industry ‘best practices in disaster risk reduction and resilience projects
∎ Strong management/supervisory skills
∎ Proven facilitation and training skills
∎ Excellent written communications including report writing, newsletters, articles in newspapers
∎ Financial/budget management skills
∎ Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet
∎ Motivated, committed and responsible to the assigned tasks
∎ Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
∎ Ability to work in a team with flexibility to undertake challenging task and adapt to different working conditions.
