Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: To ensure the quality control and timely delivery of all operations and reporting of downstream partners for the Gender Responsive Education and Skills Programme in Chittagong Hill Tracts (GRESP).
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working closely with the internal and external teams to plan, design, and prepare activity plan, and ensure the timely execution of the activities assigned to local partners NGO's.
∎ Maintaining close working relationships with and taking necessary guidance from the key external stakeholders, including CHT Regional Council, Deputy Commissioner's Office, and local partners NGOs.
∎ Preparing documents and managing data related to project activities targeted for internal consumption, external reporting (including donor and government reporting), promotion and audit requirements as and when required in collaboration with other BRAC staff/ programs and/or in individual capacity.
∎ Providing supportive supervision to the partner NGOs to ensure the expected quality of the different activities and identifying the improvement areas as well as undertaking corrective measures in discussion with the relevant departments of BRAC.
∎ Assisting project's different unit in order to communicate with national and international consultants and to arrange necessary meetings, including preparing ToRs, MoU or agreements and other documents.
∎ Handling different external missions while assessing/ appraising/evaluating different component/ initiative of BRAC.
∎ Provide assistance in organizing events on advocacy to influence policy.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good communications, analytical skills, computer knowledge on Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint.
∎ Excellent command over English and Bangla.
∎ Excellent communications, interpersonal and team building capacity/skills including the ability to cope with the people in diverse multi-cultural environment
∎ Experience and expertise on handling local administration officials, local government representatives, local NGOs, local media, and key external stakeholders at the grassroots.
∎ Strong analytical and conceptual skills with strong knowledge on developmental issues.
∎ Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field.
