Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The Deputy Manager, Curriculum and Material Development will administer the quality and content in respect to the Returning to Learning project objectives and expected outcome through guiding and developing education content, building capacity of staff for quality improvement and innovation and tracking proper implementation in classrooms along with coordination and conducting assessment and capacity building of teachers.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design & develop materials aligning with BRAC school curriculum.
∎ Ensure the implementation of supportive supervision checklist on schools and maintain data.
∎ Facilitate the orientation training on new materials for related staff and teachers.
∎ Develop knowledge & life skill-based contents related supplementary books /materials.
∎ Develop checklist on supplementary materials of contemporary issues for supporting regular supervision by related staffs and effective implementation.
∎ Ensure the quality of programme by maintaining supervision checklist and reporting to concerned team.
∎ Collaboration and maintain liaison with NCTB, NAPE, DPE and other stakeholders.
∎ Coordination with the wider curriculum team for regular updates and collaborative assignments.
∎ Regular follow up and rigorous school visit to identify the improvement areas and ensure the quality of programme.
∎ Develop and implement plans for capacity building of teachers and staff.
∎ Ready to take challenges in identifying the barriers and finding out the solution measures in implementing materials.
∎ Any other responsibilities given time to time as per the requirement of the programme.

∎ Highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual with exceptional problem-solving skills, quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities.
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively while addressing a broad-ranged audiences.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships in a multicultural environment.
∎ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment and deliver results in a timely manner.
∎ High level of proficiency in relevant computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field.
