Responsibilities & Context:
As part of the Cost & Budget team, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and control across all costing and budgeting activities.
Confirm and validate Product BOM (Bill of Materials) with Product Development and Production teams to ensure accurate costing data
Update actual material consumption in BOM, including man-hour, machine-hour, utilities, and overhead allocations
Investigate material variances, rejections, and wastages, providing actionable reports for corrective measures
Perform inventory reconciliation, including sample-based physical checks, ensuring accurate ERP warehouse records
Identify and report on overstock, slow-moving items, overproduction risks, and expired/near-expiry goods
Conduct utility cost analysis (power, water, steam, HVAC) and identify cost optimization opportunities
Support Capex budgeting and monitoring for factory expansions and major equipment purchases
Develop and implement cost-control processes to improve operational efficiency
Prepare and present MIS Reports on time to support management decisions
