The Deputy Manager- Compliance is mainly responsible for support to ensure donor requirements based on agreement, donor guidelines, policies, etc. He will also be responsible to support ensureing NGOAB compliance, relevant laws, regulations and BRAC Finance policies, HR Policies, etc. This role will facilitate collaboration with various departments within the organization, to implement donor compliance and procedures. The Deputy Compliance Manager for Donor Projects has a critical role within the organization, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the organization`s donor-funded projects are compliant with donor requirements, as well as with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Support to maintain donor requirements, regulations, and laws related to the organisation`s donor-funded projects and follow up it with the internal stakeholders to meet the requirements timely.
Support in Monitoring and analyzing operational and financial compliance related issues of support departments for effective internal controls, risk management, and compliance aligned with policies, procedures and regulations.
Facilitate review of donors’ agreement before signing, alongside recommend revising policy, and procedure to the management where applicable to meet donor compliance.
Support to Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with donor requirements, regulations, and laws.
Develop and maintain donor compliance tracker and reporting tracker and communicate with the stakeholders in a timely manner.
Maintain Donor Audit and Spot Check tracker and follow-up implementation of the recommendation.
Maintain and update Grants Management System in a timely manner.
Support to develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programmes to staff, partners, and other stakeholders..
Collaborate with the organisation`s finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of donor regulations and requirements, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
