Responsibilities & Context:
Coordinate all commercial operations including import, export, banking, LC, and other job related to bond, VAT, customs, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate end-to-end communication with banks to process of opening, negotiating, and settling Letters of Credit (LC) and TT transactions.
End to end communication with banks for updating bank’s liabilities & reporting to the higher management.
To check the PI, LC draft & accordingly transmit the LC.
Responsible for L/C entry into shared excel sheet, maintain file as per contract wise and register.
To handle the cross functional activities with supply chain, accounts, finance & marketing department.
Communicate with factories to generate SPR/PR for required materials, machinery spare parts procurement’s.
Deep knowledge of cost minimization of foreign exchange transactions ensuring smooth commercial operations while adhering to company policies and government regulations.
Prepare and present any commercial or banking reports to senior management maintaining commercial performance, compliance, and risks.
Monitor shipment schedules, clearing & forwarding (C&F) activities, and logistics arrangements.
Collaborate the commercial team members to achieve departmental goals.
Any other related tasks are assigned by the management.
Other Requirements:
Must have knowledge of Letter of Credit, customs-bonds, C&F, VAT-TAX & logistics latest rules & regulations, (ICC, UCP-600, UCP-700, Incoterms, SROs, etc.)
Must have knowledge of bank’s financial products, loans & liabilities.
In depth knowledge of strategic supply chain management.
Should have excellent communication skills in both written & verbal in Bangla & English.
Well Conversant in computer operations (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently & as part of a team.
