Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: To ensure capacity of BEP teachers through exploring and organizing need based training/workshop and facilitating BEP staff member in developing their skills to support the teachers to provide quality education.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare annual training calendar and Organize & ensure subject based teachers training on pedagogy especially in Bangla, English, Math and Science accordingly.
∎ Work closely with BEP material development unit and BRAC HRLD department to prepare and finalize training module and material as per training need.
∎ Pro-actively explore and analyze capacity building needs of teachers to ensure quality education.
∎ Explore and organize suitable training/workshop for BEP staff members and partners according to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Training Needs Assessment (TNA).
∎ Ensure monitoring of training effectiveness, impact and preparing reports regarding capacity building initiatives.
∎ Liaison with HRLD, BIED, BRACU, James P. Grant School of Public Health etc. in training related activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Curriculum development and able to work under pressure.
∎ Have knowledge on Communication, ICT, Presentation and Preparing budget
∎ Analytical ability, People Management and report writing.
∎ Minimum 2 years of professional work experience in relevant field especially in education sector.
