Responsibilities & Context:
  • Provide leadership to the entire nursing workforce, ensuring optimal patient care in both inpatient and outpatient departments.

  • Ensure error-free and patient-centric nursing services through strong monitoring, quality control and evidence-based practices.

  • Supervise and mentor Nurse Supervisors, In-Charges and front-line nurses, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

  • Coordinate with clinical, administrative and support departments to ensure seamless interdisciplinary patient care delivery.

  • Implement nursing protocols, clinical guidelines and standard operating procedures in alignment with hospital policies and international standards.

  • Identify training needs and conduct regular capacity-building sessions to enhance clinical competencies and soft skills of nursing staff.

  • Monitor patient feedback and clinical audit findings to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective measures.

  • Lead infection control and patient safety initiatives within nursing practice to ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.

  • Assist in workforce planning, scheduling, and recruitment of nursing personnel based on departmental needs and service demands.

  • Prepare nursing performance reports and present key metrics to senior leadership, contributing to strategic decision-making.

  • Resolve operational or personnel issues promptly and professionally to maintain high staff morale and service continuity.

  • Promote a culture of empathy, accountability, and continuous improvement across all nursing teams.
