Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create diverse, seasonal, locally sourced cuisines to cater to patients, employees, and visitors' nutritional needs. Consider cultural, religious, and dietary restrictions while continually evaluating menu items and making necessary corrections.
∎ Work with other departments mainly dietetics to accommodate unique requests and dietary needs.
∎ Ensure meals are prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards, considering taste, presentation, and portioning.
∎ Will be responsible for operating the kitchen and providing kitchen employees guidance and leadership, and establishing culinary initiatives to promote the hospital's mission and vision.
∎ Maintain cleanliness, food security, and maintain food quality, freshness, and inventory control to minimize waste.
∎ Collaborate with procurement and store teams to source high-quality ingredients at reasonable prices, maintain accurate food costs, and manage kitchen equipment.
∎ Stay updated on trends and developments in hospital culinary offerings.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of 2 years in the kitchen as a chef or in a position related to it.
∎ Candidates who have experience working in reputed hotels/restaurants outside Bangladesh will get preference.
