Responsibilities & Context:
∎ As a Demi Chef De Partie in the Continental section of our ZEN Restaurant, you will assist the Chef De Partie / Sous Chef in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the highest standard. You will ensure the consistent quality and presentation of dishes while adhering to health and safety regulations.
∎ Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in the Continental section;
∎ Follow recipes and presentation specifications as directed by the Chef De Partie or Sous Chef;
∎ Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and consistency;
∎ Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations;
∎ Assist in managing kitchen operations, including stock rotation, waste reduction, and kitchen equipment maintenance;
∎ Support the Chef De Partie in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen during service;
∎ Ensure all food items are prepared and presented according to the restaurant’s standards.
