Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science
∎ B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/ECE/EEE from reputed local or international university
∎ Do not apply if you are not CSE/ECE/EEE Graduates
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Database Engineer/ Database Programmer
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have 2-3 years of professional experience working in a distributed team.
∎ Working experience on Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle or both
∎ Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously
∎ Should be self-motivated, Self-learner, High achiever and ability to work under extreme pressure and should have mentality to work in a team.
∎ Create scripts to build new database objects.
∎ Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers and views using SQL/PL SQL.
∎ Assist with schema design, code review and SQL query tuning.
∎ Participate in SQL code reviews, write and deploy SQL patches, and gain a deeper understanding Of mirroring and SQL clustering.
∎ Ensure database optimization, integrity, consistency, data quality, security and privacy.
∎ Continually evaluate software components and tools for software applications, making Recommendations for system improvements as required.
∎ Upgrade and improve data and application schema, prepare design documents and functional Specifications.
∎ Perform data back-up and archival on regular basis
∎ Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized usage
∎ Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency
∎ Identifying patterns and malfunctions within the database
∎ Assist in planning and implementing the data integration and data migration activities
∎ Provide valid inputs in database architectural discussions
∎ Assist in identifying process improvements for database performance, reliability stability
∎ Troubleshoot complex database issues in a timely fashion
∎ Perform space management and capacity planning for database systems
∎ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT/BIT BUCKET.
∎ Strong analytical skills.
∎ Application programming in .Net will be a plus
