Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design, develop, script writing of databases in MS SQL Server.
∎ Install, configure, and continuously optimize MS SQL Server database instances
∎ Perform day-to-day management, patching, maintenance, and backup of all databases
∎ Provide 24/7 troubleshooting and support on a demand basis
∎ Ensure systems remain secure and are continuously running effectively and meet system/user requirements
∎ Participate in upgrades and configuration modifications on the production systems
∎ Develop scripts and create reports for database health monitoring and usage metrics analysis
∎ Generate reporting queries and on-demand reports.
∎ Collect and prepare daily health status report for production databases
∎ Drive a total automation philosophy to efficiently and effectively achieve high level of reliability, availability, scalability, security, and performance.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 5-year experiences in the related field in reputed organizations.
∎ Must have strong knowledge on ERP database (preferably Oracle EBS, SAP, IFS, JDEdwards or any other popular ERP)
∎ Must have clear concept on data warehousing, data mining and similar.
∎ Experience on maintaining large database will be highly appreciated.
∎ Strong SQL and data model optimization abilities
∎ Experience with pro-active monitoring and knowledge of database monitoring tools.
∎ Experience using backup tools and technologies
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Excellent communication & documentation skills
∎ Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment
∎ Strong command of English language
