Job Context

The incumbent will assume the role of Credit Manager in the Credit-SME Department under Credit Risk Management Division, and will be responsible to lead the credit analysts of the assigned branches, approve SME loans within delegated authority, and ensure sustainable growth and quality of the SME loan portfolio.

Job Descriptions

· Leading the Credit Analysts posted at the assigned branches in underwriting SME loans, and approving credit proposals within delegated authority while achieving sanction targets without compromising credit quality.

· Ensuring sustainable growth of the SME loan portfolio of the assigned branches while keeping portfolio risk within acceptable limits.

· Monitoring early warning signals and keeping early bucket delinquency and non-performing loans within targeted levels through close coordination with the SME Business Unit and Special Asset Management.

· Ensuring that loan files are free of credit-related deficiencies identified in internal file inspections and audits.

· Ensuring timely processing of credit proposals within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA).

· Ensuring compliance with the credit policy of IDLC Finance and the regulations of Bangladesh Bank.

· Grooming, training and mentoring Credit Analysts, and retaining talent within the team.

· Driving new initiatives for process improvement and carrying out need-based assignments given by the management.

Job Requirements

Education

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any business discipline (preferably in Finance, Banking or Accounting) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00. An MBA will be an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in SME credit risk management at reputed banks or NBFIs. Sound knowledge of SME credit appraisal and Bangladesh Bank regulations is required.

Salary: As per IDLC Policy

Job Nature: Full-time

Job Location: Sylhet-Habiganj. However, the candidate must be willing to be posted anywhere as per management requirements to develop expertise in new markets.
