Credit Analyst (Sylhet-Habiganj, Credit-SME)

Job Context
The incumbent will assume the role of Credit Analyst in the Credit-SME Department under Credit Risk Management Division, and will be responsible to underwrite SME loans and ensure quality of the SME loan portfolio.
Job Descriptions
· Inspecting the loan applicants’ businesses physically and interviewing the loan applicants.
· Validating the financial data declared by the applicants and preparing income statements/balance sheets from raw data.
· Ensuring authenticity of the loan application documents.
· Making financing decisions based on quantitative and qualitative judgement ensuring proper risk mitigation measures.
· Preparing credit appraisal memo in compliance with the credit policy of IDLC Finance and the regulations of Bangladesh Bank.
· Ensuring close coordination among the key stakeholders at branch level (Credit Risk Management, SME Business Unit, Credit Administration, and Special Asset Management).
· Analyzing the branch portfolio periodically and performing case study on the default clients.
Job Requirements
Education
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any business discipline (preferably in Finance, Banking or Accounting) with minimum CGPA of 3.00.
Experience
Experienced candidates from reputed banks and NBFIs with experience in credit risk management will be preferred. However, freshers are highly encouraged to apply.
Salary: As per IDLC Policy
Designation: Up to Senior Executive Officer (Depending on Performance in Assessment and Experience Level)
