Experience:
Graduation/Post Graduation in any discipline from a UGC-approved university.
No third division/class or equivalent CGPA is allowed at any stage of the academic career.
At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in credit analysis or related field.
Strong organizing, coordinating, decision-making, administrative, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, dedicated, and hardworking mindset.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
Analyze credit applications with a view to increase the Bank’s profitability while safeguarding against potential losses.
Scrutinize card applications, verify information through branch network, verification agents, and direct customer interaction; use additional channels if required for decision-making.
Maintain turnaround time in processing credit applications.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure compliance with PPG, internal policies/procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
Exercise and implement internal and external audit recommendations.
Credit Decisioning:
Recommend credit card applications based on minimizing risk and maximizing profitability.
Make decisions regarding recommendation, approval, or rejection based on proper analysis and review.
Maintain a balance between risk and business requirements while assessing applications.
Relationship Management & Service Culture:
Maintain effective relationships with branch managers, sales managers, direct sales teams, and other stakeholders.
Provide risk mitigation solutions/alternatives aligned with policies and risk appetite.
Promote a service-oriented culture to achieve service excellence.
Collection Support:
Assist the collection team through analysis of customer information and maintaining relationship networks.
Provide relevant information, suggestions, or support to collection staff when required.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform any other tasks assigned by Management as and when required.
